Nearly 15 years ago, Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto and adidas formed the collaborative brand, entitled Y-3. Y, to represent Mr. Yamamoto, and the 3 to signify adidas’s trademark triple stripe. With their first ten years taking place among a more exclusive audience, the high-fashion adidas entity has amassed a much more prominent position in contemporary fashion, and within the last few years thanks to celebrity endorsement, has even become quite trendy. With their futuristic designs, high quality materials like leather, suede and neoprene, and a significantly finer degree of craftsmanship than your average pair of adidas, Y-3 presents its Spring/Summer 2015 footwear collection and it certainly does not disappoint. The uniquely modern footwear’s arrival is expected in March of next year, although there is the option of pre-ordering through online fashion retailer Antonioli.
