UPDATE: RELEASE SET FOR OCTOBER 31ST, COINCIDING WITH JEREMY SCOTT’S COLLABORATIVE LINE WITH ADIDAS ORIGINALS.

Five year ago people would have looked at this sneaker and scratched their heads.  However, in the ever-modernizing landscape of the fashion industry, we are seeing sneakers designed with a much more futuristic aesthetic.  From Rick Owens, to Y-3, to Raf Simons, to the innovative Jeremy Scott, the footwear realm is seeing a vast permutation as the architecture of sneakers continues to evolve.

Following the release of Jeremy Scott’s collaborative lookbook with adidas Originals, we are being treated to a Batman-inspired edition of his popular JS Wings silhouette.  The murdered-out rendition is completely revamped to include a tenebrous ‘Dark Knight’ influenced wrap, covering the also blacked-out laces and tongue.  JS and adidas Originals are being very hush about the actual drop date, but we have a funny feeling it won’t be a secret for much longer.  Keep posted to our Instagram @thedrop101 for further announcements.
