Louis Wong’s philosophy behind his label is to create jackets that are timeless. And he has done just that in his newest collection designed for Jean Touitou’s A.P.C. (Atelier de Production et de Création), a world-renowned Parisian fashion house known for its classic and simple designs. British and French black and white films of the 50s and 60s heavily inspired the collection of lucid silhouettes as well as “Audition,” the collaboratively released short film co-directed by Louis Levy and Grant Curatola. The stylishly ominous narrative details a young man—bruised and battered—reminiscing on his troubling day-to-day life while being interviewed to take part in a film while its wardrobe features the stylish new jackets.
